I am in need of a new bed and can never find what I’m looking for. Hotel beds are always so comfy, where do they buy them???

Good work Piglet!! But over a grand for the king size, shall have to start saving.

I should say I haven’t bought one - currently lying on rubbish lumpy cheap mattress we bought 7 years ago and wishing I was in a hotel!

Yes!!! Thank you. If it lasts it is a great investment so I will definitely save for it. Our last bed £500 from Very couldn’t survive a house move so it is one thing I would actually invest in

DH has the Premier Inn double. He was always away with work, so figured he might as well have the same bed.

It's pretty good.

We have a premier Inn (well, Hypnos is the brand but it's the same 'model' they use in the Premier Inns) mattress on our own bed base and it is DIVINE. It's about 6 years old but feels as lovely as it did when we first bought it.

WombatNo12 · 08/05/2022 22:34

It's a Hypnos mattress.

Also- if it helps offset the cost of the mattress our bed base is a metal platform bed with loads of room for storage underneath. It came from Wayfair for under £100, easy to assemble, not rickety and we use a valance sheet thing to make it look more appealing to the eye.

We used Mattison contract beds when we furnished our holiday letting.

I bought another bed from them last year. They’re not as cheap as they were, but it was British made and and the quality is excellent.

thank you everyone. I am currently in a hotel bed which is what prompted me to ask. They are always perfect for me and I don’t get up half bent over like I do with every other bed I buy. The bed is always the part I look forward to when staying at a hotel well that and the breakfast 🐷
