Hope you’re all having a good Sunday. I’m quite tiddly! Worked today & it was crazy! I prefer it when it’s busy but not so keen when you have no time to catch your breath! I do wonder if the tourist season is getting longer as there’s loads of traffic around & we do seem to be extra busy in the store. DD13 has had a lovely day with a big group of friends, shopping & seeing a film. I was actually quite impressed with how she’d spent her money ( and mine!) It does her good to get out as she’s been school refusing & spending a lot of time in her room. DH has been very productive to use my DM’s word. He’s cleaned out the bunnies, hung out some washing, swept the kitchen & lounge, cleaned the loo & dusted the lounge. I’ve thought very hard about hoovering!! Going to start tea in a bit which is garlic & rosemary lamb steaks, Jersey Royals & broccoli. Might watch a film tonight.

Anyone?

I'm sat on the sofa scrolling through the Tesco app doing a shop, eating a probably unhealthy amount of cheese puffs and feeling slightly woozy from the 3 gins I've had.
Partner is gaming, kids are asleep

Very uneventful evening

Poured a big rum and coke and waiting for the Miami Grand Prix to start.

We are watching jazzzzzzz on the telly, eating pasta and dh is drinking red wine. I don't drink the stuff, but after 4 hours on the M25 today, I feel like I could do with some!!

We've already had dinner (dh's speciality - yaki soba with chicken and prawns). Dh has gone to the pub, I'm about to have a bath. Ds1 in his room, ds2 downstairs watching television.

Packing. Moving out on Friday after 18 years. Dear lord the crap I’ve accumulated! I’ve cleared the whole kitchen today. It’s taken all day and I am cream crackered. We’ve come out to the pub for a swift half before dinner.

I’ve been at the athletics track all day with DS (12) who knocked 8s off his previous 800m PB, so the whole family are proud/delighted/happy 😁. DH took DD (10) to netball, and we’ve reconvened this evening, over roast chicken cooked by DH, now enjoying a super generous ‘too good to go’ bag from Greggs. School bags are packed, lunches made, chilling with a cider in front of the TV. It’s been a good day 😁

I'm sat on the sofa with a cup of tea after a surprisingly blissful day gardening! I only went out this morning to pick up a crisp packet that was bothering me, looked around and realised how dull and scruffy my garden looked. 8 hours later and I've made amazing progress and it alleviated a ton of anxiety I've been battling with lately. The day really took me by suprise. Now just enjoying an episode of friends with my elder daughter before she goes to bed, then ill do some uni work.

I'm wishing I had a man available
Been gardening all day and now my back neck and shoulders are killing me

Mind you , he'd have to bugger off once he'd sorted my tired muscles 😂

DS has just gone to bed, DP is out at the cinema with his brother and I’ve just ordered a takeaway.

I’ve got a long, busy day at work tomorrow so I’ll have a bath after the food and head to bed. I hate Sunday evenings!

Took dd into town do she could spend a couple of hours with her friend. Went for a long walk along the river with DS while she was doing that. Came home and spent the afternoon pressure washing the patio and drive and clearing up the garden. Just made dinner (wagyu burgers) and now chilling with a g&t while DS watches the Grand Prix.
DH is away with work so trying to keep busy. Am slightly irritated because we are at a good bit in the box set we are watching and I have to wait for him to come home before carrying on and he isn't back until the end of the week! And I do miss him, not just the box set

It's dh's top secret recipe but I'll ask him when he gets back. He always tries to make enough so there's leftovers for work lunches but there never is 😂

I have been busy all weekend. I went back to a place yesterday, the last time I was there life changed forever so going back was tough but I did it. Today I have taken refuge at DD's we played in the garden, took the fosterlings for a walk to the park then came back for a BBQ. I was hoping that the fosterlings would sleep in the car on the way home but they had other ideas. They are finally asleep now, I bet they still wake at their usual bright o'clock in the morning though! I am delaying going to bed as bed is a cold lonely place now. I still sleep on 'my' side, which is daft but I just can't sleep on the other side.

I’ve spent the majority of the day laying on the sofa hungover while DP went out to work and then to see family. I feel horrendous but we had such a brilliant night out last night I don’t mind too much.

I did get up a few hours ago to make a Ragu for dinner and our lunches tomorrow and now on the sofa watching 24 hours in police custody. I’m also about to send an email putting in an offer on a house we saw yesterday. We’re offering £36k over the asking price but we’ve lost out on so many recently through people offering insane amounts that I’m not holding out much hope.

Me: putting off sorting last of the laundry, and waiting for DH, who left for a mega cycle at 6am, to get home.

Daughter is in bed, son has missed his train/ferry connection so has had a two hour wait and his phone is dead so hoping he's getting home ok. I'm sat here watching Selling Sunset, drinking a glass of wine and trying not to feel too guilty for not taking dogs out for their evening walk (they had a two hour walk this afternoon and will go out in the garden before bed). Up at 5am tomorrow so should go to bed soon...
