Where to sell concert tickets?

I have two tickets to a gig that is in under two weeks,
the person I was supposed to be going with has changed their mind and I have no one else I can go with.

The tickets were over £100 which I paid so I would really like to get some of my money back but I have no idea where to sell them, I have the tickets already so they can't be sold 'fan to fan' on see ticket and I had a look but eBay doesn't seem like its recommended as the place to buy/sell tickets anymore.

Would they sell on facebook?
Or should I be looking for something else?

Viagogo?

You can’t sell theatres/gig tickets on FB. No officially anyway, although I have as a post on my feed, rather than via Marketplace.

There are ticket resale sites. Viagogo, Twickets, StubHub and others, but check their conditions, and those from your venue. You usually can’t sell for profit.

Twickets is amazing.
I've offloaded a few tickets on there and got face value or close to it

I’m definitely not interested in making a profit, I don’t even mind taking a loss, I just want to try to get some of my money back.

I’ll check out with those site, thank you.

Depends who it's for, if it's Ed Sheeran then it makes it more difficult as you have to have the tickets in your name with matching ID

I used a ticket last night that I bought from Twicket. Super easy.

It’s not Ed Sheehan,

it’s The Script.

it says nothing about id on the tickets that I can see.

Twickets or ScarletMist

SixStringFanjo · 08/05/2022 20:24

Twickets. No contest.

Jollyandbright · 10/05/2022 08:22

Thank you all, I’ve got them listed now.

Ok so the tickets have sold on twickets, but the buyer wants to collect them.
they paid via PayPal.
I thought collection was a big no no with PayPal as the risk of an 'item not received' is an issue as you have no way to defend it.

I asked the buyer if I could refund the PayPal payment but they said it is against twickets policy and I have to accept PayPal.

Do I go ahead with it?

Definitely talk to twickets
I had tickets in hand that I sent recorded signed for and some that were pdf that I sent via twickets

Hi, I have Adele tickets to see for the 2nd July - unfortunately we can’t go, when do the tickets arrive in my account to resell via Ticketmaster?
