Anyone seen any “how do I juggle my baby whilst touring the country for my job (can’t say what the job is as would be outing)” threads?

Between this and seeing Leighanne discussing the sleep deprivation of BF twins (something I can relate to!), I’m starting to think I might like to be best friends with Little Mix.

I think Perrie, and Little Mix, are fantastic. I'm old enough to be their mum and love seeing young, successful people getting on well. Bitterness and jealousy are horrible traits in any person.

Onwards22 · 07/05/2022 14:32

There are a few famous people on MN and there must be many more.

I doubt they start threads though in case they do get found out.

I guess it’s the one place where you can talk to other people and be treated like a normal person.

I took my little lady to see Little Mix last week. They were fabulous! I think they all have amazing voices and talent. They also use their platform for so much good too, supporting LBGTq and diversity.

Never heard of her but heard of little mix. Not my kind of celeb but she is very beautiful and glam. I'm impressed with her for speaking out about the positives of mumsnet rather than keeping it a dirty secret!!. We get such a bad press. We are just a whole bunch of people talking to each other.

Off to Google her singing!!

Cheeseandlobster · 07/05/2022 14:58

Parenting and especially being a new mum is daunting no matter who you are. Good on Perrie for advocating for mumsnet which has always been a huge source of support and info for me. Even now ds is 21 its still my go to forum

EmergencyPoncho · 07/05/2022 15:04

She absolutely can sing. And I know a little bit about these things. Also agreed, her baby is absolutely gorgeous.

I took my dd to the concert. I expected it to be a bit meh but I had a fabulous time. They sounded great, the whole show was good and I knew a lot more of their songs than I thought I would. Thank you Perrie if you're reading this!

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 07/05/2022 15:15

Enough is enough Perrie.

You only asked to borrow my face and body for 5 years and yet here you still are, flaunting it on MN.

I’d like them back now please.

Don’t worry - your arse and belly are still as wobbly as they were. I’ve looked after them well.

frogleap · 07/05/2022 15:24

I think she's a wonderful role model and seems like a lovely person so it's great she's on here!

SpringLobelia · 07/05/2022 15:25

Oh what a gorgeous little baby!

SpringLobelia · 07/05/2022 15:31

Although I did first mis-read the title as Prince Edward obsessed with Mumsnet. Which to be honest probably would not do him any harm.

Butitsnotfunnyisititsserious · 07/05/2022 15:35

Ahh thats nice she likes Mumsnet.

@balalake I don't know why you're so bitter but she's got a beautiful voice, they are talented. They may not write their own music but even if they don't, they are ensuring the songwriters music gets heard.

Comefromaway · 07/05/2022 15:39

I see that she studied performing arts at college. Doing a similar course to what my son is doing at the moment. Depending whether she did music or MT she’d have had to write songs etc. it’s not like she just rocked up to X factor having never studied her art.

My son plays keys. He’s pretty good. He can’t write songs at all as he just cannot write lyrics. He can arrange and orchestrate. On his course is a mediocre keys player but goodness the lad can write really good songs. So the two of them play to their strengths.

some people just love to run others down.

purpleboy · 07/05/2022 15:42

Perrie is brilliant, she has an amazing voice and little mix are great for entertainment. Keep doing what your doing Perrie!
Oh and also her boyfriend plays for the best team in the world, and I can't wait to see them in Liverpool for the parades in a few weeks 😉

I hope what Perrie Edwards reads is enjoyable or supportive for her. I wish as much attention was given to women with real musical talent, the many women songwriters who largely get overlooked or have much less time given to them.

Have you ever complained about the boy bands, male artists that don't write their songs?
