I don't usually listen to Dermot on a Saturday morning, and never watch Good Morning.

But does he always talk over everyone? This is unlistenable! How long has he been doing this and how much does he get paid for it! He asks a question, lets someone get half way through their answer and then interjects with some little comment or anecdote. I bet he's annoying in company.

I like him on the radio. Look at the BBC website if you want to know how much he’s paid by them. And I also know he’s a genuinely lovely bloke (worked with him).

I think this is true for a lot of radio presenters... they can't afford to have any silence on radio so it's not like a normal conversation. They have to keep things moving along.

There are definitely others who do this and I do also find it slightly annoying!

He's getting it wrong so much though 😬I listen to the radio all day and others manage not to do it to such an extent. It's almost like he can't stop himself.

I agree - he’s far better on the television than he is on radio

I remember the days when you listened to the radio for the music, not the sound of the presenter's voice and random members of the public shrieking down the phone.

I only like Ken Bruce during the day, anyone else usually gets turned off at some point.

I love Dermot on the radio. And his chat with Tony Blackburn at around 7:45, before his show starts, is very funny and affectionate.

He has improved on the radio, when he first started I used to struggle to hear him, he used to talk so quietly!
