Birmingham jewellery quarter

Hello!

So I'm off tomorrow to the Jewellery quarter on the hunt for mine & my partners wedding rings.

I've heard it's like a treasure trove of shops, so I was wondering if anybody's been and can advise me of where to begin? Which shops are the best? Any to avoid..?

I've also been told it's acceptable to ask for small discounts / haggle. Is this true? I don't want to look silly if I try 🙈🤣

I haggled on my ring i got for my 40th.no problem. They can only say no

Depending on what you’re looking for, we had lovely service 6 years ago at Adamas in the Jewellery Quarter when we went to buy my engagement ring :) they specialise in antiques/vintage though so possibly not worth going to if you’re looking for something newer!

It’s lovely for a browse though, we had the best day. Enjoy 😊

I am not really sure what I'm looking for 🤔 I'm in the market for a new engagement ring also.. as I've lost a considerable amount of weight and sadly my current cannot be taken down in size enough without causing structural damage to the shoulders of the ring.. and the diamonds set in them.

They have a big range and very fair price-wise. Always busy in there because I guess they are good!

A long row of jewelry shops on both side of road. I saw a ring I loved in first shop we went in but I wanted to look some more just in case we saw something I liked better. We spend about 3 1/2 hours looking through every shop and then I decided to go back to first shop. We chose setting then they bought in the diamond of our specification and we collected it 2 weeks later.
