Love meal threads. Blush

For us I am trying to work through my freezer and larder so we are mostly all having different things depending on the amounts left.

Tonight

DCs- spaghetti bolognese.
Me- piri piri chicken with black lentils and salad.

Saturday

Homemade sausage rolls with mashed potatos and peas

Sunday

curried seafood with rice. (I use a frozen seafood mix). The DCs will not touch that so they will have probably bratwurst, or soup and toasties.

I found a nice piece of smoked haddock on a really good offer, so it's smoked haddock risotto tonight.

Tomorrow beefburger or spicy bean burger in a roll with and pan fried potatoes. That'll pretty much fill us up, but they'll be some lettuce, tomato and onion to go in roll/a side salad if anyone wants.

Sunday - DH usually cooks something with rice (I have long day at work). I fancy potatoes, battered fish and beans for a change - so might drop a hint!

Tonight it’s smoky sweet potato and black bean burgers.
Tomorrow we’re having Spanakopita pancakes
Sunday lunch is spring greens homity pie, and then Indian scrambled eggs for tea.

Oh these all sound so good. I like the sound of Indian scrambled eggs very much!

Tonight’s it’s sushi (well I’m vegetarian so a mixture of avocado, cucumber, sesame).

Tomorrow night I have a work event so whatever tiny little appetisers food they serve there. Nachos with hummus and guacamole for lunch though. A huge portion so I don’t starve by 10pm when the tiny little appetisers food is served.

Sunday night I’m not sure yet. I bought my favourite pesto this morning so might make pesto pasta. Or order from the local burger chain as I usually do when watching my favourite sport which is on later that night.

Sweet and sour chicken and rice for kids

Dh and I will have chimichurri (sp?) steaks with new potatoes

Shoxfordian · 06/05/2022 18:18

Indian scrambled eggs sounds good

We’re having an Italian meal delivered tonight; I’ll probably have pasta or parmiagiana

Out to the pub for lunch tomorrow
Almost definitely takeaway pizza on Sunday

Sexnotgender · 06/05/2022 18:20

Tonight was Indian cottage pie (vegetarian)
Tomorrow I’m thinking cheese fondue
Sunday baked potatoes and vegetarian chilli (burnt aubergine chilli)

FabulousKilljoys · 06/05/2022 18:21

It's been a busy day so quick and easy pizza and curly fries this evening.

Tomorrow I'm doing a Mexican spread with spicy beef tacos, chicken and quinoa burritos, and nachos with all the dips, followed by churros. And probably tequila

Sunday I'll do a full cooked breakfast around 11ish, then beef casserole with mash served in giant Yorkshire puds for tea.
