So I got a random message from my MIL yesterday morning on instant messenger, just a wave, so I waved back. She’s not terribly tech savvy so it was unusual. It was early in the morning which again is unusual so I looked at it again to see if I’d missed anything and accidentally video called her back whilst brushing my teeth, cancelled the call but messaged her to say sorry my hands were full and I’d accidentally hit the video chat but that I hoped she was well etc etc.
later that morning I got a message back which sounded all wrong for her so I did a bit of digging and turns out her profile has been cloned.
I got another message today from the fake account and was bored and stressed at work today so decided to start a conversation to see where it would go for entertainment value.
