Wheelybug - what age and what size?

Would like to get my son a Wheelybug.

Interested in opinions whether to get him one now for his first birthday or at Christmas when he will be 18 months - when will it get more use?

And am I best getting the small or large size?

Tbh by the time my dd’s legs were long enough to reach the floor on the big one it was a bit boring for her but she was quite small.

Mine got more use out of a skuttle bug at 12-18 months and then a mini micro scooter but I do like the look of the wheely bugs!

Get the large one. We got the large one for my eldest when she was 1 - she could push it about more than ride it - she’s now 11 and sibling age 7, and both still go for a spin on it! It’s kept at grandparents house so there’s a novelty element to it but it’s lasted really well.

Dd is 17 months and has had a wheelybug since she was 11 months. She doesn't really play with it. She likes her rocking caterpillar better.
