Fast Track Passport - sorry I know its getting boring now

So many posts about passport apps at the moment so apologies.

I attended a fast track passport appointment on the 25th of April in Liverpool for child's first passport, after cancelling a normal application via letter 2 weeks prior. I was told on the phone and at the office itself that it would be fine.
Told we were going to receive the passport today, however I've just had a text saying

You should receive your new passport within a few working days. We'll send your supporting documents separately.

Which is all well and good if that actually happens - but we fly on Saturday! I fully take responsibility for not actually obtaining the passport before booking but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Has anyone else done a fast track application, how long after you received this text did you receive your passport?

I did a fast track application last week. I received the same text as you on Friday. My passport was delivered on Saturday by UPS. Hopefully yours should be with you today/tomorrow.

Oh I understand that feeling. And having a bank holiday this week just added more stress… was so relieved to get mine before the BH.
Now you just need to make sure you are home when it’s delivered!

Even with my "normal" renewal application, standard text on the thursday saying it had been printed and transferred to delivery suppliers and would be delivered in next few days. Text next morning from TNT with delivery tracking and delivered same day
