I applied for my kids passports over a week ago (we a read travelling end of July) and have received an email to say that my husbands details don't match their records and I need to send his full birth certificate.
There are no further details given on what the exact issue is and when I log into the account there's absolutely nothing there about it. I've tried to call the helpline but they're not taking calls as they're too busy. The only problem I think it could be is DHs middle name isn't on his passport (why then if that is the case, was this not an issue with the kids first passports?!).
We can only find an abbreviated birth certificate for DH, have applied for new ones but been told it can take up to 20 working days. Does anyone have any similar experiences? Was confident the passports would be here in time for holiday as I applied 14 weeks beforehand but losing confidence.
