He just won his record-equalling 7th world championship, 21 years after winning his first. IMO this makes him the greatest British sportsperson of all time, no-one else has had such longevity at the top level.

Amazing achievement

I can't stand snooker (sorry grandad) but Ronnie is mesmerising to watch. Well done that lad 👏

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 02/05/2022 21:19

Sorry but i wouldn’t call it a sport- well done to him but it’s a skill imo

Onceuponatimethen · 02/05/2022 21:20

My grandpa (RIP) would have loved this

CormoranStrike · 02/05/2022 21:20

That hug!

SisterRuth · 02/05/2022 21:25

He is brilliant, I love Ronnie. But Jimmy Anderson also deserves at least a mention if we're talking sporting longevity at the highest level.

mumda · 02/05/2022 21:48

He'd have done it half an hour earlier if he'd paid attention. 😂
Was lovely to see his kids.

Just as well your opinion is irrelevant then 🤦🏻‍♀️

RoyKentsChestHair · 02/05/2022 21:52

He’s amazing isn’t he! Makes watching anyone else play a bit dull though Grin

My ex looked a lot like him, so I have a soft spot for him anyway, but his talent is really something else.
