ULEZ / LEZ - not recognising my car reg - URGENT?

It may be urgent it may not be urgent but basically my car is only about a month old I've got to take make an emergency journey to my stepfather's house, as he's been taken into hospital seriously ill, which is in the zone where I would normally have to pay I believe. None of the vehicle check sites recognise my numberplate!
I don't know whether I need to do anything about these charges as I don't live anywhere near London normally I'm in the middle of a four hour journey 🤪
Can I leave it for today? I think you get a few days to pay and if I go online and try and pay will they then recognise I don't need to?
Assuming I don't, because it does say most cars built since 2006 should be fine and also it's not a huge amount but it's just an extra stress at an already stressful time if that makes sense.

if i were you, i would pay it now, so you don't have to worry about it, and try to ring them tomorrow to discuss.
whatever they say, ask if you can have it in email for reference.

Make sure you are only using the official TfL site to check for ULEZ and congestion charge zones:

You do have up until midnight on the third day following the journey to pay, so no need to worry about it right now. BUT don't forget to check!

I'm pretty sure that I was ok as it's a brand new tiny car! Nothing flash just economical...but will call tomorrow.

Do you know the emissions level on your car? I drive a Prius plus which is about 105 for emissions and ULEZ exempt.

A small new car wont need to pay ULEZ, that’s a certainty.

My car is ulez exempt so if you don't enter the congestion charge area you don't pay. Is this the reason?

Thank you. All the sites inc gov ones tended to say the same! It's a 1.0 teeny brand new car. So should be fine. Might still see if I can speak to someone to check tho!

Also. Who knew certain residential streets were literally residents only! Otherwise £65 fine! It's a different world!
