Sherburn Road, Durham yes or run for the hills

Currently live in Seaham County Durham for the last year and a half originally for Surrey, anyway have been offered a house in Sherburn Road, Durham perfect location but apparently it’s a horrible area, I went to have a look outside and the street on the weekend but doesn’t seem any different to wear I’m living now,some people are saying it’s awful others say it’s not that bad is there any on here that actually lives on or near by and can actually give me some good advice, I have 2 young kids so don’t want to move anywhere and regret it,

Hello, I don’t have any recent experience of Sherburn Road (I lived in Gilesgate as a student many years ago). Just in case it’s helpful, there’s a Facebook Group called “Mums in Durham” that you could join and ask as you might get a response from people who know the area. Good luck with your decision.
