In need of inspiration for new bedroom (bed photo)

Hi, I've ordered this bed which I'm really excited about.

How would you decorate the room ? Its currently a blank canvas, the carpet will be a standard grey.
In the pic they've used dark blue but I'm not sure about it as my bedroom is on the small size, in fact the bed will practically fill it !
I do like the wall and ceiling lights and the bedside tables.
I'd appreciate any advice

Light coloured curtains and bedding will make the room look bigger. Pinks and greens go with that bed frame also (we’ve got one similar).

Thanks starlight , the bed colour says 'pewter'. I'm expecting it to be dark grey. I do like green but hadn't thought of using it here

I fell in love with the bed! Never ever spent this much on an item for bedroom for me and DH. Our bedroom has historically been a dumping ground for overflow storage with second hand and mismatch furniture. We've never had a sanctuary to escape to but now is an opportunity. So I've cleared the lot out and I am starting from scratch based around this bed😀

I have a small bedroom, bed and chest of drawers type size and it’s full, my walls are dark blue/grey. I did think it would make it feel smaller but it really doesn’t. And at night it’s lovely

I'm wondering what teal would look like. Maybe just on one wall.

I’d be tempted to go full floral wallpaper but that’s just me. Green could definitely work – I’d lean into the small room effect and opt for dark, cosy colours to make a lovely cocoon.

Dark colours on the walls will actually give the appearance of a larger room, especially with such a dark bed frame. If you left the walls a light colour, the bed would look like it's dominating the space, rather than blending in.
