Do you have a favorite type of mop?

Riveting question I know,

I need a new mop for hardwood floors but not sure what to go with.

Seems to be a fair few different types from my nosing on Amazon.

For hardwood floors I use a flat headed chenille microfibre type.

For tiles, a Vileda spin mop. I love the spin mop.

No. I desperately want a cordless steam mop but they don't exist and I grieve this fact every single day (I have a toddler!).

I just bought one if the chenille microfibre cloth mops but can’t get my floors to look clean. Very smeary. What am I doing wrong?

I like the microfiber ones with the integrated bottles for spraying floor cleaner
