Help! Do I wax or shave now?

I last had a leg wax 4 weeks ago, some hairs have completely come through and are quarter of inch or longer, others haven’t come through at all yet. Some are ingrown. This usually happens, and it takes a while for them all to come through properly. However…. I go on holiday on Tuesday and would like hair free legs..

Do I get a wax for Monday even though they won’t be able to get all of the hair, or shave for holiday and then wait for all of it to regrow before waxing again? Is there a right or wrong answer here, or just whichever?

Not one of the options you mentioned but can you epilate? I find this easiest when there's mixed regrowth and it lasts longer for a holiday than shaving.

Good idea but i don’t have one, not sure if it is worth buying one just for this? I do want to try laser removal at some point too..

Just buy some waxing strips from a chemist? I know they're not great but if you don't have lots of hair, it should be sufficient. They're surprisingly effective on very short hair

This is why I find waxing a pain. You have a week window when your legs are fine before you are growing them again to get ready to wax! In your situation I'd just shave

I’d do a body scrub to try and release some of the less ingrown ones and just shave.

Shave and shave again whilst you are there. You can then grown them all again the same length for waxing if you want to try with it again when you get back.

I would wax and enjoy a few days with relatively few hairs. Tricky though. Intend to stop waxing my legs at about this time of year as I want to start getting my legs out more often and need to shave. My last wax is in a couple of weeks. Will start again in September/October.

Buy an epilator. Well worth it. I do my legs and pits before a holiday, the take it with me to do stray hairs over the first few days. Worth the cost of buying the machine.
