Can you help me find a book?

I'm writing this after seeing a thread about books we loved as children.
Has anyone heard of a book called "Selina and the swallows"?
And, more importantly, can anyone help me find a book called "The Other One" about three kittens called Snowy (or maybe Princess), Blackie, and The Other One? It's very sad, but I'm trying to find a copy for my sister.
Huge thanks to anyone who can help. Liz

I had a quick look on Google.
there is a book called The Swallows and Selina, by Gladys Taylor and Cicely Steed.
Also a book called The Other Kitten by Patricia St John.
Are these the ones you are looking for?

Thank you so much for your time and trouble.
It's amazing how one's memory isn't always as accurate as one thought: the date for the publication of "The swallows and Selina" matches the probable dates I borrowed the book from the local library. Unfortuanately, there isn't a copy available on Amazon, but at least I know the correct title and can continue looking.
Sadly, the book you mention for "The Other One" has a publication date too late for me: my sister read this as a child so we're looking at the late 50s, possibly the early 60s.
But thank you for trying - I really appreciate your help.
Very best wishes,
Liz

I'm not sure whether this will go to ThreeKneeRepeater - but, thank you! I've managed to find "The swallows and Selina" on a site in Auckland (New Zealand) and have ordered it. I borrowed this book from the local library several times as a child: I don't suppose it'll be the same re-reading it as an adult, but it will be nice to see it again. Thanks again.
Liz
