Hello, I am thinking about training to be a doula. I've been doing antenatal teaching but I think it would suit me better to work one to one with families.
I am going to a seminar next week, chatting to a couple of local doulas but thought I would ask Mumsnet too 🤩
I've got quite a lot of questions but if you are a doula:
- how difficult is it to find clients?
- I am looking at different courses... Are you registered with doula UK and how useful do you find that? (I see some courses are approved by them and some not)
- do you have any BF training? I am considering ABM training for doulas would probably want to start ASAP with the doula training?
- how many births do you book a month? Just one?
I'm sure I will think of more if I get any traction here.
