Bringing washing home from holiday- please tell me I am not the only one

I am on my third load of washing after having been away for 5 days. I am
still no nearer to seeing the bottom of my washing basket😂. What is worse is that we went self catering so there was a washing machine in the flat and I was washing while we were away. How does this happen? It must be some kind of trickery as I didn’t think I packed that many clothes. As a sanity saver does this also happen to others 😀?

I’m just a weirdo who loves doing washing! I am Dame Washalot! I also enjoy doing a bit of washing while I’m away. Like pp said - it’s a totally different experience doing it on holiday! I never see it as a chore. I love watching it in the machine, blowing in the line, smelling it all clean. Also it’s like bringing a bit of the holiday home with you - shaking out sand from pockets etc.

I tend to sort the dirty laundry on holiday into different cases for when we come home. So the 30 load in one case, the 60 in another.

what about colours?

@cherish123

you don’t want to use the washing machine becuae loads of others have used

so you never ever go on holiday? Eat out restaurants? Etc
or do you being own cutlery, glasses, bedding, towels etc? 😂
