Is there a way to stop my period?

So I'm on contraception- patch. I had covid in March, my period didn't turn up in April and all pregnancy tests are negative.
Now this morning i have started to bleed, it's not my patch free week either! I have date night on Monday, is there anything I can do to stop it?

You can get medication to stop it, I can't quite remember the name but it begins with N, but it might be prescription only. I think once it's started it's quite difficult to stop though as that's more of a preventer. Sorry that's not more helpful!

Norethisterone I believe. If you google period delay Superdrug does it amongst other places.

Yes I posted about this recently, can't find it now though! Just Google period stop drugs, I didn't use Superdrug as I found it cheaper at somewhere like pharmica (?). Your gp can prescribe too but buying was more convenient. I trialled it recently and it worked well. You take it 3 days before your period is due do you do need to know your cycle, and keep taking it until you want period to start. The info said 3 pills a day but I actually forgot and only took 2 a day and it still worked. I delayed my period for about 5/6 days just to see. By day 2.5 of me not taking any tablets my period arrived just as it normally would (spotting, light, then heavy) lasted a bit shorter than usual and was fine. Just saying that as other posters had warned theirs were super heavy after having that pill.

Just seen your date is Monday, sounds like it might not work for you if it's already started. You could to get to a pharmacy this morning and start taking it right away and it might stop the spotting.
