Argh what does a single Go North East bus ticket cost?

does anyone know what a single ticket on a Go North East bus costs and whether you can pay with cash, not contactless?

the website and app are great for all day tickets and so on but I just want the basic fare information.

eg bus from Hexham, one journey. Or the AD122 bus, one journey.

🚁couldn’t find a bus emoji 🎟

From where to where? Don't they still vary based on distance/ popularity of the route?

Would it not just be cheaper to get a day ticket maybe?

Thanks @RedHorsesAreDangerous

it might be cheaper with an all day ticket, but not if a single ticket is say £1.50 rather than say £3. Various journeys to plan, various locations, not on the same days.

i thought I’d find something about fare structures online

so could be short journey Hexham to Corbridge on one bus, and Hexham to somewhere on the Wall on the AD122, but probably not returning by bus

There are so many variables...I take it you've already looked at www.gonortheast.co.uk/tickets

Might be worth contacting them via Twitter?

No problem, glad you got it sorted! (Go North East was a mystery to me when I lived in Newcastle and used to have to attempt to cross the river to see friends, though obviously now NewcastleGateshead is just one big happy family ;)
