How can I make my tummy more comfortable after eating?

Omg my belly aches after eating. It becomes hard & round & really uncomfortable. I eat home-cooked healthy food. Tonights was shepherds pie. Made with beef mince, onion, mini carrots, peas & sweetcorn & a thin layer of potato mashed on the top. I feel like an alien has clamped itself onto my tum, it's massively uncomfortable. I eat sensible portions. This happens now after all sorts of different meals. I'm just coming through menopause if that makes any difference & 2 stone overweight. I want to lose weight but this tummy reaction after most meals is not helping. Today's lunch was a quarter piece of quiche with salad.

I agree with PP that this warrants a GP visit, especially if it is a new symptom. Having said that I experience similar and find that green tea really helps, plain or flavoured. I also did a week of 16/8 fasting out of curiosity two years ago and am still doing it! It rests my digestive system and things are much more settled, i've also lost weight which is great. I really hope you find what works for you but please consult a medical professional before making any major changes to your diet, especially ones that are very restrictive or eliminate major food groups.

Hmmm anything can be an allergen and sulphites one of the major allergens is usually found in mince.
