Great Park Newcastle

Hi, does anyone live in Great Park Newcastle? I am thinking of moving there, I have a 7 year old girl. It seems like a very good neighborhood for kids to grow up in, but it does seem a little boring. I'm just wondering if someone who actually lives there with kids thinks its a safe, fun, family neighborhood for children? I'm looking for a place where kids play outside and there are lots of children. We are also looking at Whitley Bay or maybe Gosforth. Thank you so much.

I don't live there but I often walk my dog through. Every person I have met regrets buying there, it's just a big housing estate next to the A1. I think the houses are overpriced for the location, it's not really Gosforth.

I quite like 5 Mile park, decent size gardens and the people I know who live their seem happy. Walking distance to a number of schools too. And pubs.
