Do any food processors blend smoothies as well as a Nutribullet does?

Our Nutribullet is on its last legs and our Magimix has died, so thought I might get a new food processor that can double as a smoothie maker. The Magimix XL that I have doesn't quite blend stuff thoroughly enough for a smoothie but I see there are other food processors that claim to - can anyone recommend one?

I have the Magimix Cook Expert (with the cooking bowl and food processor bit) and the smoothie function on that gets used daily in our house!

Vitamix

My magimix does thick smoothies (like banana nice cream) much, much better than my nutribullet, but isn't so useful for the thin ones you can drink with a straw, it leaves little lumps or takes so long to blend it that it heats it up a bit.

I used to have a Nutri Ninja, that was excellent, it died after several years & I wanted something a bit more powerful so now I've got a Magimix which is fantastic. Both make excellent smoothies. Ninja is great if all you're interested in is the smoothies though. The only thing I found it struggled with was kale, & fresh pineapple which you're not supposed to use anyway due to the fibre content. Tinned was ok though.

I bought a nutribullet for smoothies, but I rarely use it these days, partly as i found cleaning it such a hassle.

I now use a Bamix hand-held blender which is much easier.

@Fifthtimelucky one of the things I love about high speed blenders is that they literally clean themselves. You just rinse, fill with a little bit of water & a drop of dishwashing liquid, & blend. Then rinse again. My Magimix even has a cleaning cycle! With the screw cap ones you need to be careful not to overfill & when opening them or they can squirt foam out, but that's just a matter of working out the details.

Yes, I used to do that but I sometimes used to find little bits of black stuck in the crevices. I prefer to immerse the blades in running water.

I obviously wasn't thorough enough!
