Does anybody work at Ikea and can answer a q about stock levels and delivery?

Ikea customer service email not available at the moment so can’t ask there

For once, all the things I have in my Ikea shopping basket are available at my nearest store.
I can only accept delivery during the first week of June
It’s things like garden furniture sets and umbrellas that tend to sell out
If I order and pay now, is it mine and kept for me until delivery if that makes any sense? Or is it typically picked on the day of delivery and I run the risk of ending up with two chairs, an umbrella, a table cover but no table. Or a table and no chairs.

And why oh why are Antilop chairs never available for home delivery?

I don't know, OP. But when I ordered garden furniture and had to keep tweaking order for stock issues, it all arrived. My delivery was weeks after my order.
I had assumed it doesn't come from the local stores?. But rather a big depot? But I have honestly no clue!

This order is for A LOT of stuff so the delivery charge doesn’t grate as much, but yes, it is on the high side. Now West Elm, they take the biscuit for delivery charges!!
