Lucy and Yak trousers

Hey all, wasn't sure where to put this but Lucy and Yak currently have a few sale items I'm interested in but have never bought from them before.

My question is on sizing, generally I wear a 12 or 14 in my trousers depending on brand as I'm quite "curvy" for my 5"3 frame 😉.

I used the size calculator and it's suggested a 12 but wanted some anecdotal advice as well before I take the plunge and spend more on trousers than I ever planned to in my life.

I own a few bits from there and would say it depends on what you are buying really. The trousers with elasticated waists (Alexas) come up big as do most of their dungarees, so I would size down on those if you are between sizes. A lot of their other trousers are sized by waist size (as in 30, 32, 34 etc.) so you really need to take measurements and go by those.

Hey, the waist does have elastic on the sides and the sizing recommended is a 32R

They’re always on the larger size so definitely size down. They’re very loose fitting and baggy, even the jeans are.

My alexas were HUGE! I'm a 14 and had to swap for small. And a pair of corduroy dungarees I have in 12 and they're still roomy. Other dungarees were true to size though.
