What would you buy for this party?

Hi all.
I’m looking to buy a bunch of (affordable!) toys for kids between ~2yrs to 8yrs to entertain them at a party. It was meant to be a picnic, but looks like we’ll be rained out. The local scouts hall has saved my bacon but I need some fun substitutes for the playground!
I only have younger kids so would be grateful for ideas that would suit a wide range of ages, won’t make a ton of mess, and can be divided up so the kids can take them home after (rather than, say, a single large set that can’t be split).
I’m particularly keen for things they can play with themselves, rather than adult-supervised activities.
So far I was thinking along the lines of hula hoops, bubble wands, foam aeroplanes, bouncy balls - but grateful for your ideas!
Thanks.

How many kids and what is your budget OP? Honestly if I were you I would consider hiring an entertainer who will keep them amused with games etc

Kids running wild with planes, bubbles and hula hoops sounds exhausting. I would organize some party games - pass the parcel etc.

I'd borrow rather than buy.

2-8 is quite a range. 8yos sponge footballs

2yo ball pit

In between, ride on toys
