Thank you, that’s more than 3 times better than my regular saver.

Whitney168 · 27/04/2022 10:49

Great rate, but only available to those with a FD current account I think?

Eggshelly · 27/04/2022 10:50

Oooh

Onthegrid · 27/04/2022 10:53

Diary note made, I will be taking money from Premium Bonds to add to this, I know it is only a small amount you can save but as I am not achieving 1% with my 'winnings' every little helps.

BakeOffRewatch · 27/04/2022 10:54

Thank you op

KalaniM · 27/04/2022 11:07

Maximum input is £3.600 which would give you about £120 annual interest in one year, if you put that in as a lump sum.

ita about half that in practice as you feed it in every month.

its better than nothing though.

@Whitney168

New customers switching their current account to First Direct can also benefit from a £150 bonus.

Those who just open an account, but not through the Current Account Switching Service (CASS), will receive £20.

Lochroy · 27/04/2022 22:58

Aha. I've been meaning to switch from the fecking awful HSBC for some time now and this might just be a good catalyst. (Assume they aren't still one and the same).

But why do you keep bumping this OP Hmm
What's the catch?

AnotherTroyforHertoBurn · 27/04/2022 23:55

There is no catch, but anyone with tuppence halfpenny to save, has not been receiving a decent return.

So here I am promoting it, so no need for the scepticism.

Do you think you need to go to Fd and say Troy sent me and I will get a kick back ?

God some people are just perpetually miserable, sorry to have troubled you.

Bumping for OP so she doesn’t have to seem suspicious again. Account opens today can do it in app.

MistySkiesAreGone · 28/04/2022 07:59

FD are great. No wait times to speak to someone.

Cakemonger · 28/04/2022 08:10

Ah I was just looking for a new saver account, thanks OP
