Curious to find out if anyone has actually received theirs yet?
It's a no not yet here in Cumbria.

I received mine yesterday - London borough

catchingzzzeds · 26/04/2022 07:49

I'm in Hampshire and received a letter to say payment will be made at the end of April and will be in my bank beginning of May

BlueSpottedGiraffe · 26/04/2022 07:52

Yes we got ours on the 14th I was quite surprised when I logged onto my online banking and saw it. Our DD goes out on the 8th so only took 6 days to revive it after that. This is under Wakefield Council.

Gloucestershire and not yet. Don't know why they couldn't have just taken £150 off the bill and recalculated based on that.

drinkingwineoutofamug · 26/04/2022 07:53

Radio silence from east Cheshire council. Website says 14 days post 1st DD . So expected contact mid April.

Ifailed · 26/04/2022 08:01

End of May for people who pay by DD

Lottie4 · 26/04/2022 08:09

Haven't had ours yet (Gloucesershire!). I read somewhere most will get theirs at end of April, so hoping it'll arrive in our account at the end of week.

I received mine on Monday in the West Midlands. Check your council website.

Because it's not a council tax rebate - it's to help with the cost of energy bills and they're just paying it through the council tax departments.

Some people who are council tax exempt are still eligible.

That's how it was done for me, it was taken off the total to be paid so my monthly payment is less. I'm in Scotland though.

We got ours a week ago and we haven't even started paying council tax this year yet as we pay on the last day of the month.
