I have a spaniel who barks incessantly in the car. I've tried everything, training, medication, treats, bones, chews and nothing works. I have a corsa at the moment and noisy dog travels in the boot. I also have a 3 year old daughter so it's impossible for me to take them anywhere on my own.
My ex and I take separate cars for day trips, which is an absolute nightmare.
I'm looking for a solution. I've thought about either a van with three seats in the front and a bulk head (would obviously make sure the back of the van was ventilated) or something like a navara or Ford ranger so she would be completely separate. I am still sure I'd be able to hear the barking, but it would be muffled enough to travel with daughter in the car.
Any ideas or solutions or ideas? We recently travelled almost 5 hours to anglesey in my car with the dog and dd, after I tried to sound proof the boot but failed. Dd had to wear ear defenders.
