i know if anyone can help me you can. My year six age daughter wants summer dresses for school but I have three issues stopping her from wearing the usual ones. The first is that she’s already started her periods so is some way along into puberty and has got the beginnings of a bust. Shes tall- over 5ft- and on top of this she some sensory issues and hates having anything digging in around her waist.
The biggest size I can find is 13/14 years and the buttons gape at the chest and they’re halfway up her thighs, as well as having a structured waist. The holy grail would be a loose fitting, unstructured dress that at least reaches her knees.
I’ve looked everywhere, including womens dresses (I’m alright with a sewing machine, I could modify) but it’s a desert. Anyone able to help?
