Mum’s carer suspended due to manhandling

I’ve just returned from holiday to find that one of my Mum’s carers has been suspended pending an internal inquiry at the care home. Reported by another attending carer for manhandling but other than that, we won’t be told be anything until after the inquiry.
im wondering if her social worker and possibly the CQC should be informed?
anyone knowledgeable about this please and have any advice about who I should be contacting if anyone?
thanks in advance

Any Safegarding issues which would include man handling, will legally have to be reported to cqc by the care company, so it may be worth checking if they have done this.
and absolutely make her social worker aware.

While I understand that this is alarming, it sounds like correct procedures are being followed and that there is nothing you need to do at the moment except wait for the outcome of the investigation.
