Moissanite engagement rings? Worth it?

I’ve seen a lot about Moissanite engagement rings recently and was wondering if anyone has one? Are they worth it or is it better to just get diamond/ a different stone? Are they just as nice as diamonds as people say they are?

I can’t find any in local shops so I can’t see what they are like in real life.

I love my moissanite, much sparklier and more ethical!

Absolutely love mine. Loads sparklier imo but most people probably assume it's a diamond. I specifically wanted moissanite for several reasons, ethical, cost and sparkle.

That has been my exact thoughts and Moissanites seem to tick all my boxes. I have been looking at other stones but they never seem to be that sparkly or are still quite expensive for smaller stones. Thanks for your replies and the picture. They always look like such lovely rings.

I bought this one from Etsy for every day wear as it’s set in titanium, my actual wedding set is moissanite and yellow gold which is also beautiful. Take a look at aardvark jewellery and aladdins cave on Etsy, both really good sellers

I have a white gold and moissanite engagement ring. I've had it since 2014 and it's still so sparkly and beautiful. As a pp said, I liked the ethical benefits of it and the fact that you get so much more stone for your money.

There's no downside, in my eyes.

Can any of you who have them recommend a jeweller where you can try them on? I’d like one for all the reasons listed above but would like to see them in the flesh. A lot of the websites I’ve found seem to be American

I got mine from a company called moisaniteco in USA and posted to
uk no issue. They are very white. Got my engagement ring 10 years ago and my eternity 5years ago and absolutely delighted with them since and no issues etc. Just to add a recommendation as know it’s so hard to pick x

Moissanite rings are simply stunning. Unless you're a professional, they're impossible to distinguish from diamonds. But the price is certainly a plus. This five-moissanite ring can be purchased for around $600.
