Just interested to see how much of these everyone drinks per day?

4/5 mugs of strong tea, a couple of big glasses of water. Mint tea a few times a week. Occasional orange juice (maybe buy a litre every couple of weeks) and sometimes I get a hankering for a glass of cold, whole milk.

Sometimes have a coke if we're out or a lemonade on a sunny day. Appletiser at Christmas.

mamaduckbone · 23/04/2022 23:25

Juice rarely, fizzy drinks even more rarely, squash sometimes with dinner but usually just plain water. I try to drink water throughout the day but I'm really bad at it, especially in winter.

Tea and coffee - loads, but it is mostly decaf. Maybe 3 coffees and 3 teas per day? Possibly more, and definitely more at the weekend. 1 or 2 cups of tea are caffeinated and I might have a real coffee out, decaf the rest of the time.

Windflower92 · 23/04/2022 23:57

How does anyone have time for anywhere near 10 cups of tea/coffee a day?! Besides actually making it and enjoying it, don't you have to pee all the time? You must never leave the house! 😮

Sankayadead · 24/04/2022 00:12

1 litre of water during the day at work, and two pints of diluting juice in the evening. I don't like hot drinks. A fizzy drink if I'm out for a meal, or a G&T.

Fantail · 24/04/2022 05:03

On average;

  • two coffees

  • one or two black teas and perhaps one herbal - maybe two if it’s cold

  • Rarely a Coke Zero. But I drink flavoured sparkling water

  • juice - only if I’m low - I’m a T1 diabetic and a juice box is my go to hypo remedy.

Fantail · 24/04/2022 05:04

And probably 6 - 10 glasses of water.

dudsville · 24/04/2022 05:06

Strong black coffee and/or tea with milk daily in the morning. Occasionally a weak single cup of tea around 1 or 2 pm. Never juice or fizzy drinks!

ZealAndArdour · 24/04/2022 05:08

4-6 cups of coffee a day.
3 pints of dilute cordial or thereabouts.
Also usually have a 300ml protein shake.

ZealAndArdour · 24/04/2022 05:09

Never fruit juice.
Very rarely have a glass of fizzy pop, always diet, can’t usually finish it.

PickySlackTastic · 24/04/2022 05:34

2 cups of coffee every morning
Tea - 0-3 cups a day
Can of coke approx 4 times a week

urbanbuddha · 24/04/2022 05:41

3 coffees a day, couple of herbal teas in the evening, 3 to 4 glasses of water and a glass of milk.

garlictwist · 24/04/2022 05:52

2 teas a day and a couple of glasses of squash. Rest of the time I drink water.

Fizzy drinks a couple of times a year On a hot day maybe.

workwoes123 · 24/04/2022 06:27

1-2 cups of tea
2-3 cups of coffee
no juice
no fizzy drinks
plenty of water with meals

Libertybear80 · 24/04/2022 06:34

2 teas
2 coffees
2 ginger cordial with fizzy water
A glass of red wine

Toddlerteaplease · 24/04/2022 06:37

1 latte. Occasionally 2
4 large cups of tea (pint mugs at home or work)
3 glasses of water

Not keen on fizzy drinks or squash.

NearlyHeadlessNick · 24/04/2022 06:45

Far too much I think 😳

2 coffees
2 or 3 cups of tea
I try and switch some for fruit or herbal teas.
Very little squash, fizzy drinks sometimes. Probably one pepsi 'max' or diet something every few days - more so in the summer.
Now that the weather is getting nicer, I'm trying to switch around some of the caffeine for glasses of water.

Wrongkindofovercoat · 24/04/2022 09:02

@Windflower92 I get up very early so get in at least 5 before I need to do anything else , so before 8am. After that if I am working I will probably manage at least another 3 at work and then 2 to 3 when I get home. If not working, the kettle rarely goes cold and I will have one at least every hour when home, inbetween doing jobs. I don't need to wee a lot I don't think ? probably every 3-5 hours ?

TenoringBehind · 24/04/2022 09:23

4/5 coffee
1 tea
2/3 Decaff tea
1 sparkling water

No juice or other fizzy drinks

Wrongkindofovercoat · 24/04/2022 09:23

Caffeine doesn't appear to effect my bladder, but any drink with artificial sweetners in, like tonic water, will normally mean I have to get up for a wee in the night. If I am woken up in the night, I will have a coffee and watch the news for 15 minutes and then go straight back to sleep.

AnyCakeButBattenburg · 24/04/2022 09:24

About 5 cups of decaffeinated coffee
2 or 3 pints of water
I don't like tea or fizzy drinks

Innocenta · 24/04/2022 09:30

Hot:

2x black coffee (first thing, one is caffeinated and the other decaffeinated, as I have to watch my caffeine intake)
Small white decaf coffee with oat milk around mid morning
1 or 2x black tea (decaffeinated Earl Grey)
Sometimes 1x herbal tea in the evening

Cold:

Fizzy water through the day, in really large amounts as I have a uniquely high fluid intake for medical reasons Blush

Diluted orange juice (also using fizzy water) about 2 or 3x per day

Fizzy drinks 1 or 2x per day, though it depends how well I'm eating and if I particularly need to get my calorie intake up. I've been told to increase them (!) when I can't get enough actual food.

TheChosenTwo · 24/04/2022 13:53

I only drink water or alcohol! So most days only water, around 2 litres.
I love coke but it’s a hangover rescue with a McDonald’s breakfast delivery, maybe twice a year otherwise I’d be as big as a house 😁
Don’t drink hot drinks, never have done and I don’t buy fizzy drinks for the dc as a rule either. I don’t mind them having them when we’re out.
And I don’t buy juice either, actually I do at Christmas or dh does when he does a cooked breakfast but it’s only him that really likes it.
quite boring here!
