Can anyone understand this? (Possibly Scandinavian language)

A friend overheard this on her radio and was worried the person speaking sounded distressed. It's probably totally mundane, but I'd be grateful if someone could put her mind at rest. She suspects the signal came from a nearby cargo ship.

Unfortunately DP is away or I could get him to check it for Norwegian / Swedish / Finnish.

If it's any reassurance in a Scandinavian tone his sisters often sound distressed when they are anything but Blush

@ImInStealthMode - that is reassuring, thanks! Hopefully it's just someone saying hi to another ship rather than anything more sinister!

It sounds like an adult and a child I think. And a European language - did I hear Gott lieb?

I asked a German speaker and it was him who suggested Scandinavian. Wouldn't expect a child on a cargo ship...
