Medical Peeps, Epstein Barr....tell me your experiences and how dangerous could it be?

Family member has supressed immune system. How dangerous could Epstein Barr be? How would it be treated?

They generally test for this before beginning immunosuppressants as far as I know - they did for my DD anyway.

It can be dangerous enough to cause hepatitis and can even trigger MS a few years later.

There are medical papers. It can be very serious. There are antivirals and the immunosuppressants will be stopped if this is possible as far as I can gather.

This. Also can trigger Guillane Barre and CIDP. Think about 95% of the population has had EB.
