What’s Your Favourite Perfume?

I have a few. Now the warmer days are here, I’m wearing Sun by Jill Sander which I absolutely love. Also love Obsession by Calvin Klein, Coco Chanel & Roberto Cavelli.

Obsession is also my fav. Been wearing it for 33 years and was my first perfume I bought with my first wages :) Also love Samsara,flowerbomb and Jo Malone wood sage and sea salt.

Oh I'm having a real nostalgia boost at the moment. I bought Chopard Casmir perfume recently (it's achingly 90s but beautiful. I lived in Paris in the mid-90s and drenched myself in the stuff... I'm much more subtle about it now).

I love Chanel Gabrielle and Narciso Rodriguez Musc Noir Rose (which I only have a sample of).

I'm not a big perfume wearer on a daily basis but when I do wear it, I go big.

Cerrutti 1881 for me. I go back to it every time. I love Calvin Klein Contradiction too, but find I have to get that one online now.

Fracas! I’ve worn it for 22 years with very rare exceptions.

I have a couple but I use the cheap dupes for them, saves me a fortune and smells exactly the same. My absolute favourite is Black XS by Paco Robanne, 2nd favourite is Good girl by Carolina Herrera. I tend to alternate them as well as layer with other cheap perfumes depending on the time of year, I generally use fresh crisp scents in the summer, warm cosy ones like Black XS in the colder months.

Very basic here.

Marc Jacobs Daisy. I know it's not very interesting or sexy but every time I go to buy perfume, I never like anything as much as I like Daisy 🌼

I’ll love Miss Dior but I’ll take anything I’m given lol

Currently Musc Invisible by Juliette has a Gun. I'm also liking the Portraits sampler by Penhaligon but would never pay full prices for a full bottle.

Penhaligons Halfeti-it’s so beautiful and makes me feel gorgeous and sexy

Velvet Orchid by Tom Ford, and Portrait of a Lady by Frederique Malle. Both utterly delicious!

Mine is Chanel Chance eau tendre, which is lightly pink in the bottle, more citrussy-sweet than the original. It suits me really well.

As a youngster, I had Nina Ricci's eau de Ricci, which was in a crazy neon green twisted bottle with a purple crown on top. As I recall, it was also quite citrussy, so that must be my thing!

Favourite of all time is Oscar de la Renta Oscar. I wore it every day as a teen and in my early 20s so now it reminds me of those lovely carefree days too.

I also love Lancome, especially Miracle, it's a lovely sweet daytime perfume.

Another one for Cerruti 1881 here too, I always get compliments wearing it.

I really like the smell of Alien on others, but it's too strong for me to wear.

Creed Love in White,Delina by parfums de marly and portrait of a lady by Frederick malle.

Currently YSL Libre, but all time favourite is Gucci Envy.

Currently wearing Imari Elixir (by Avon!) as I read somewhere it was a dupe for Lancome's long lamented Rouge Now or Never, which was a brief 90s limited edition. I'm not sure it's an exact dupe but it's definitely giving me the heady berry vibes of the original, and for 8 quid it's a bargain (and for those who are wondering, it really doesn't have that Avon-y note!)

Mine is a real 90's perfume, Samsara by Guerlain.

If I had to pick a favourite, it would be this one.

But I'm 'that person' who has 20 bottles of perfume all more than half full, because it honestly depends on what mood I'm in at the time!

I wish I was the kind of person who has a 'signature scent'!

Lola by Marc Jacobs but they’ve discontinued it which I’m gutted about

Gucci Guilty Black

Hugo Boss Intense for daytime, smells peachy. Think it's been discontinued though and I've just finished my last bottle🙁

Another penhaligons fan but Endymion.
I also like the smell of weather turning by lush.

Byredo Blanche. I haven’t worn anything for the last 3 years though (bad morning sickness x2, I didn’t like wearing perfume while breastfeeding for some reason etc) and I was very upset that the open bottle I have left over has really changed scent over that time. I didn’t believe that perfumes go off, but this one really has.

I love Juniper Sling and Luna by Penhaligons. They’re my ‘going out somewhere nice’ perfumes. My everyday scent is Lilac Path by Aerin.
