Restaurant in Winchester - recommendations

Central Winchester, mid-priced for a party of 8 in mid June. Grateful for any help.

The Bishop on the Bridge or the Winchester Stable

There's a really nice one right at the top of the high street near the Hampshire Chronicle, on the left as you look up the hill. But I can't remember what it is called. <not helpful>

The Ivy on the High St would be a good bet.

The Old Vine

The Stable nr the Cathedral as someone else suggested also really good.

The Wykeham Arms. Near the cathedral. Fabulous food.
