For only half their face to go blue and not the full face. Happened to my child but people won’t believe that only half their face was blue

I've never seen it, but you have, presumably when your child was struggling to breathe, so I'm not sure why anyone would doubt this.

Yes - it's possible - blueness usually starts around the lips.
