I've had a horrible couple of days and little sleep. Please help me solve a dilemma because my brain isn't working properly.
Yesterday I lost my purse. I received a message on Facebook this morning from someone letting my know that they'd found my purse in motorway services (where I'd been) just outside Cardiff and handed it in at WH Smith. I live in the East Midlands
How on earth do I get it back? Retrieving it would mean a six hour round trip. Do I just write off the loss and cancel all my (many) cards?
If it had been in the possession of an individual rather than a shop, I'd have asked if they could stick it in the post for me, but I don't suppose any of the shop staff would be prepared to do that.
So as not to drip feed, I don't drive (DH does) and we have neither the time or the funds to travel to retrieve the purse.
If I was to cancel my cards, I wouldn't receive replacements in time for DH & DC's birthdays, both next week.
Argh!
