I need to sort my life out

This is a bit of word vomit but also looking for advice!

After a booze-filled (and regret-filled) Easter weekend, a particularly tough time at work and the loss of a family member, I’ve realised I need to sort my life out.

29, no dependents, live with my best friend.

Been in my current job for 11 years, loved it, now there’s been a restructure and I hate it. Started to look at applying for a new job but have next to no confidence in myself.

Need to lose weight and eat well. I have a terrible relationship with food and have a binge eating disorder.

Mental health is not great, very anxious and generally depressed.

Want to reduce my alcohol consumption and start saving money, as well as actually enriching my life with experiences etc.

So, has anyone successfully sorted their life out, and if so, how?!

Sending you a virtual hug OP.

The first stage is realisation and you have that.
What I am doing is trying to be more loving to myself- so that means prioritizing me, buying healthy fresh foods as an act of self care.

Take baby steps and cut out one thing.

As for the confidence aspect, I will be approaching 40 soon and I dont have as much as I would like. I do think its a "fake it til you make it". Other people think I am very confident.

There is a youtube channel called charisma on command. They analyse what confident celebrities do and little tips you can do to trick your body and brain into thinking you are more confident than you think you are. I found it fascinating and helpful.

Lastly I think its all about trying to love yourself. I know it sounds sappy but I try to be kind to myself and be my own cheerleader. People will disappoint you but if you are secure in yourself it will help massively.

Good luck on your journey
