They are always really lovely and make me smile.

I think we could all do with a mood boost sometimes.

I'll go first
Things im thankful for

  1. The sunshine is out so we can go on a nice dog walk
  2. Tomorrow is community kitchen day , im thankful one is close enough to us we can use it, and its so generous.
  3. Husbands new work had made him permanent.
  4. Kids are healthy
  5. Husband suddenly remembered he had 2 gym passes given from work - weeks ago i might add. But we can use them for a free date night tomorrow.

Please don't turn it into a bragging post , lets find something we are thankful for on this sunny day x

Woodland plants at this time of year - bluebells and anemones - beautiful. The occasional bee is out, too.

Both my little ones got a full nights sleep last night after being terribly poorly all weekend.

I didn't because I've caught what they had! But they're both so much better today Grin

My flowers are starting to bloom!

The sun is out and we are going to pick up our new kitten at the weekend. My children have been suffering with anxiety and I really think having this little ball of fluff will help them.

Thankful for the beautiful weather we had this weekend too, it was lovely to get outdoors!

Great idea for a thread x

Ds went to football camp and lots of the dc remembered him from last time and he went running in!!
Another ds who usually hates leaving the house has gone to visit a friend..
I can go home and have 2 hours peace after work before I collect them!!
Now that's a biggy!

We had a huge bee in our kitchen yesterday. It must have been a queen it was that big. They aren't ment to leave their nests , but it was huge

Here in Melbourne it's rained more or less continually for two days, after weeks and weeks of nothing and every gardener is loving it. Wonderful to hear the rain hammering down on the still roof.

PerseverancePays · 19/04/2022 12:56

Gratitude every day for my ancient car that still ferries me about.

Noimaginationforaun · 19/04/2022 12:59

Adopted my LO a year ago last week and honestly could not be happier with my life. We have celebrated our first Easter with chocolate and lots of playing in the garden in the sunshine.

Feeling so thankful that I have my lovely little family! Can’t wait for more sunny weekends in the garden!

badlydrawnbear · 19/04/2022 13:11

This is quite hard today, the sun isn’t even shining here, but I made myself try and come up with something instead of just clicking away from the thread:

The house is warm and we have food to eat (even if DC said there was nothing for lunch)
I am very thankful for the charity that provides my DC with bereavement counselling.

SophieSoSo · 19/04/2022 14:37

@badlydrawnbear I really hope your days get easier soon Flowers

@Noimaginationforaun ahh congratulations! That made me smile so much x

Every day that goes past I'm a day closer to meeting my rainbow baby.

House is falling apart. This morning shower tiles that revealed rot. But I had my second to last therapy session where we decided next will be the last as I’m doing just fine on my own. The house can crumble. I’ll handle it. Smile

Yessss! You’ve got this 👏 👏 👏

That’s an amazing achievement, I’m glad you’re feeling better and therapy helped you in some way x

I took the dogs out early this morning. We didn't see a soul on our walk, and all I could hear was birdsong. The farm track we walk up is a carpet of bluebells and cowslips.

I had to make myself walk back home! I could have just walked miles and miles. It was a perfect morning. I'm loving the light levels, makes me feel so much happier in myself.

thistimelastweek · 19/04/2022 20:59

I've got fuck all to to today.

I might be less thankful tomorrow.

Moonface123 · 19/04/2022 21:00

Thankful for being alive, for my health, for the priverledge of seeing my sons grow up, for my family, friends and pets, for my beautiful garden and the joy it brings, for the hope in my heart, for people that have come and gone from my life, for all the lessons l have learnt, and still yet to learn, for living in a peaceful country, these are just a few if the things l am thankful for today.

XenoBitch · 19/04/2022 21:08

I have a lot of plants in my garden that would maybe not make it through winter. They had 2 choices. They all chose life, and it is lush to see all the buds and leaves. Even my banana plant made it (it was in fleece though).

Aconitum · 19/04/2022 21:14

The roofers have nearly finished and I can start to get rid of the dust tomorrow oh and son and Dil got back early from their holiday today so I got to have my 10m old granddaughter for a couple of hours this afternoon and she fell asleep on me😍

Logoplanter · 19/04/2022 21:15

I'm thankful for my amazing, thoughtful and kind husband who has brought me breakfast in bed virtually everyday for the last week when I've been off work and generally just looks after me really well.

I'm thankful for my kids who I adore and love spending time with and who want to do things as a family and with each other. I'm wondering how long this will last...?!?

I'm thankful that whilst I have to go to work tomorrow which I don't love, my boss has agreed that I'm ok to WFH tomorrow so at least I don't have over an hours commute each way.

Love the thread OP.

whoturnedthesunoff · 19/04/2022 21:23
