A little girl who really wanted to start playing piano got one as a birthday present from her parents. As it was delivered, the store gave the parents the contacts of the only person in town who could fix the piano — an old lady.

The girl was excited to start practicing, but a few weeks later she started complaining to her parents that her fingertips hurt. She was told that this is normal — she was just bruising them through over-practice, but if she kept going her fingers would get used to the pressure. The girl continued to practice but started growing thinner and paler.

Then, after a month, the piano broke. The old lady was invited over to fix it. When she arrived, she told the parents and the girl they needed to stay out of the room as she was working as she didn’t want any distractions. She shut the door to the room, and soon after emerged. The piano was fixed.

The girl went back to her daily practices and continued to lose weight and colour in her cheeks. She was so weak she could barely walk across the room. Then the piano broke again.

The old lady arrived again to take a look at the piano, and again told the parents to stay out of the room. The parents were curious about how such a frail old lady managed to fix such an instrument, and decided to peek inside the room through the keyhole.

They saw the old lady open the piano and take out a glass jar filled with what looked like blood. Then she started to drink it.

The parents rushed to call the police, who got to the house just in time to arrest the old lady. As they examined the piano they discovered that the keys had tiny needles built into them, so small they were practically invisible to the naked eye. As the girl played the piano she suffered tiny cuts which drained her blood, drop by tiny drop into the jar. The piano was also designed to “break” when the jar was full, so that the old lady could arrive and drink the blood.

The past week or so our 2 year old has been saying red eyes, green eyes.

Yesterday DPs niece was here. Later DP tells me she was making up stories about there being ghosts on the room. A little girl called Amy with green eyes and a Boy who wouldn't speak but he had red eyes.

Google the ‘Eynhallow riddle’, my db was on the ferry and was sat near the passengers who vanished-they didn’t speak to anyone and apparently were very strange…. He has no explanation but says it was the creepiest thing he ever experienced.

How about - The Red Curtain.

A man takes a room in an old fashioned hotel. He's told to not go near the room next door as it is haunted.
He doesn't take much interest in this warning and asks around the other hotel residents about the woman. Most have either nothing to say, or just repeat the same warnings.
So that evening he goes up to her door and peers through the keyhole. He can see the silhouette of the woman sat in a chair near the window. She doesn't look like a ghost so he laughs and goes to his room.
The following morning, he takes another look, but it seems that a heavy curtain has been hung on the other side of the door as all he can see is red through the keyhole.
He goes down for his breakfast and tells the owner of the hotel that he saw the woman and she really isn't a ghost.
The hotel owner turned white and said "You SAW her? Please tell me you didn't look her in the eye, you'll only be safe if you haven't!"
The man laughs again and says "What on Earth will happen if I look her in the eye?"
The hotel owner replied "No-one who has looked her in the eye has lived for more than a day afterward. They say her eyes are like deep pools of blood red."
That's the moment the man realised it wasn't a curtain behind the door.

Boo!

I went to bed on Thursday night. Phone on do not disturb. Daughter had gone out earlier, and texted to say she was getting a taxi home, so didn't need me to go and pick her up. I fell asleep. Unfortunately, daughter couldn't get a taxi, so texted to say she needed me to pick her up. Here's where it got creepy. I was asleep, so wasn't aware of her increasingly panicky and frustrated texts. My phone, however, responded to my daughter's texts all on its own, asking her to call back later, and send a text!! Very odd!!! I saw the messages when I woke up. Daughter and boyfriend ended up walking home. I'm now a bit wary of my phone.
