This morning I decided to get the bus into town. I got on the bus and went to pay, but my contactless debit card wouldn't work.( It's a new card and I had forgotten to activate it, all ok now.) embarrassed, I got off the bus ,then the
gentleman next in the queue said get back on the bus I will buy a ticket for you. I could have cried at this unexpected act of kindness, I thanked him profusely.
Later in the day I went to the cashpoint, when I had finished I began to walk away, only to have a young lady running after me with my cash I had failed to take! Again I could have cried at her kindness and honesty.
I do not know their names but I hope they know how grateful I am.
