Thinking would dark green stain blend it in more

Either is nice. Anything as long as it's not grey 😄

We did a very dark grey (lol at post above!) because I read that is the best colour for making things blend in / you just don’t see it. It does work.

We did ours a deep blue/grey with off white window frames and fascias. I like it.
Brown and green are both very old fashioned.

I know rhis isn't necessarily helpful but last year I stained my shed purple, and its wonderful.

If its a choice between green or brown tho, id go with green.

Why to limit yourself to such traditional colours when there are such lovely sage, pastels and vibrant colours?

Whatever you do, don’t stain it brown.

KosherDill · 18/04/2022 12:33

Green.

No beige or grey.

Houseplantmad · 18/04/2022 12:35

Our neighbours did theirs black and it looks stunning, especially with the green of the garden against it.

FreezyFreezy · 18/04/2022 12:39

Brown might make the wood texture/pattern come out more? Ours is bright blue with white doors and roof edges and I love it!

wonkylegs · 18/04/2022 12:45

Black
We have a mix of black and clear Matt varnished cedar (so it stays it's lovely original colour) in our garden and they look stunning against the plants

Or if you want to go softer sage green is nice

Black does sound good

We had our fence painted green. Don't know why. It was a mistake. Now we re painted brown. So much better for background for green plants.
