Has anyone been to this?? We'd love to take DD for her 8th birthday in October - she's not quite as obsessed as she used to be but I think the spectacle of the show would bring it all back if that makes sense.

It's insanely expensive - any tricks / tips to getting cheaper tickets?!

We're also not sure what to do about DS who will be 10 by then - he may be a bit too cool for it but it feels a bit weird to exclude him and we want to keep it a surprise so can't ask him...

I'm wondering if we maybe just get 2 tickets so him and Dad could do something else whilst we go to the show??

We took DGD for her 5th about a month ago . It’s a proper full on west end show . Lots of fun , beautiful set . We were not quite in the gods , but getting that way . We paid about £25 each . The merchandise is a bit eye watering we paid £30 for a pair of leathet adult size gloves ( no child ) that said , DGD wore them ( like flippers 🤣) all day ! Definitely worth going to see . I actually teared up when the big number came on , I looked at DGD and she was whipping her eyes too , so a complete win . As for son , I didn’t see any lads that big . Enjoy 🙌

@Popetthetreehugger thank you that's great!! How was the experience up at the top?? That price is much better than I was imagining so would happily head upwards to spend less if it's still worth it.

We sat in the front row in the top section and that was a great view!

We sat DGD on a booster , ( big stack at the back ) we got tickets through an agent , if we’d got the direct we could have upgraded. We would have I think . View was ok but next time we will push boat out ! I’d say it was 5050 with little girls (and boys ) dressed in character or not . If your going to eat first , leave bags of time . We went to Bella pasta . Just round corner , but within minutes of us sitting down as empty, they were turning people away . The singing and cast are brilliant. I was expecting a child’s show .. but top notch . X

Ah this is all very reassuring. Me and DD are booked next month to one of the Sunday matinees. Also in the gods (or possibly on the roof at £25 Grin ).

DD is 13 but when I suggested it her eyes lit up and she was like “yeah why not” - guess you’re never too old for Frozen.
