Motivate me with your experiences- can you make a difference in a month? (Weight/fitness/body shape)

I’m a year post partum (2nd baby) and around 11kg over my natural/ideal weight. I know things might have changed permanently but I have a real saggy mum tum with big roll of fat (not loose skin) that I need to shift. I’m a bridesmaid next month and wearing a form fitting silk dress and while I’ve been trying to eat well It’s not made a huge difference. I now have one month- how do I make big changes? Planning on trying carb free and going to the gym 3 x a week. I cycle commute and walk everywhere but need a real hard hit!

Have you thought about intermittent fasting? I started it in summer 2020 after gaining too much over lockdown. I shifted about a stone in 6 weeks and combined with doing Couch to 5k.

I opted for 16:8 (so fast for 16 hours and eating window of 8 hours), nothing but water, black tea and black coffee in the fasting window. It made me feel so good I’ve carried on every since!

Just remember the old saying, you can’t outrun a bad diet - weight loss is 80% diet and 20% exercise.

Very true! I have done the 5:2 before with some success so might try the 16:8 thing!
