Where are my crumpets? Two hours ago and

They are still missing.
Got up around 06.30 and put some coffee on, cig in the garden with the dog then watch some telly.
At about 08.00 I remembered the new packet of crumpets and opened the packet and put two in the toaster.
I went outside to check my grass seed and have another cig, came back in and the crumpets had gone.
DH was in bed, DD in the living room and DD at her boyfriend’s house.

Not my hairy boy, he was in the living room.
The toaster was still warm when I looked for them.

Or the Easter bunny got fed up of eggs and fancied crumpets for breakfast.

Are the still in the toaster but not popped up sometimes my toaster traps my crumpets and l have to release them with a fork

Crumpets? On Easter Sunday? You should be having hot cross buns, so the Easter Bunny has nipped round and confiscated your crumpets.

Still no sign of them. First post was a mistake, we only have one DD.
I hope I have placated the gods of Easter, I toasted some hot cross buns and another 2crumpets
