I remember an old thread like this where I got great recommendations.

I'm reading The Five by Hallee Rubenfold atm and it's obviously horrifying but just so interesting how she unpicks the womens' stories.

Does anyone know of anything similar?

I have that on my Kindle OP, it's a fabulous book. At the moment I'm on a victorian lunatic asylum binge and am reading: Of unsound mind Case histories from the Newcastle-upon-Tyne Lunatic Asylum by Logan Ewing.
